FORD LDM Localization

The LDM must support outage detection on all output channels. Outage detection will only occur while the channel is on, and input voltage is within the range of guaranteed performance(9-16V). Every outage needs to be communicated through LIN. The outages need to be verified at least 10 times within at least 1 second before reporting the outage. On every ‘LDM power cycle’ the outage detection is restarted.
The module must be able to detect the following defects related to LEDs:
• Single or Multiple LED Outages (per channel)
o Short anode to cathode
o Open anode to cathode
• BIN/NTC out of range

The failure shall not be reported via LIN in 500ms of LDM power up.
