FORD LDM Localization

When the LDM is triggered to fade on for embrace, the LDM shall fade from 0% to the duty cycle given by ‘DRL_Embrace_Intensity_cfg’ within the time given by ‘DRL_Curve_Duration_Welcome_cfg’.

Similarly, upon entering a farewell state from a regulated state, the LDM shall snap to ‘DRL_Embrace_Intensity_cfg’. Then, when the trigger to fade off is received), the LDM shall fade from ‘DRL_Embrace_Intensity_cfg’ to 0% within the time described by ‘DRL_Curve_Duration_Farewell_cfg’.

‘DRL_Embrace_Intensity_cfg’ parameter definition:
• Range: 5 – 100%
• Resolution: 1%

‘DRL_Curve_Duration_Welcome/Farewell_cfg’ paraemter definition:
• Range: 0 - 10000ms
• Resolution: 40ms

The fade shall be smooth and a non-linear cubic ramp follow smooth fading strategy in section:3.4.11. All channels assigned to DRL shall be capable of supporting and performing this function.
