When the LDM is triggered to fade on for embrace, the software shall fade from 0% to the duty cycle given by ‘DRL_Embrace_Intensity_cfg’ within the time given by ‘DRL_Curve_Duration_Welcome_cfg’. ‘DRL_Embrace_Delay_Welcome_cfg’ describes the time the LDM shall begin the fade after receiving the welcome trigger command.

Similarly, upon entering a farewell state from a regulated state, the LDM shall snap to ‘DRL_Embrace_Intensity_cfg’. Then, when the trigger to fade off is received), the LDM shall fade from ‘DRL_Embrace_Intensity_cfg’ to 0% within the time described by ‘DRL_Curve_Duration_Farewell_cfg’. ‘DRL_Embrace_Delay_Farewell_cfg’ describes the time the LDM shall begin the fade after receiving farewell triger command.
