FORD LDM Localization

In case of “LIN lost”, the LDM shall continue functioning. A “LIN lost” situation occurs if:
• 5000 mS (/- 50mS) no LIN messages or corrupt LIN messages are received when battery voltage is below 7V
• 2000mS (/- 50mS) no LIN messages or corrupt LIN messages are received when battery voltage is above or equal 7V

The LDM shall go back to normal function if the LDM receives 3 valid LIN signals within 500 ms. If corrupt frames are received, the last valid frames shall be used. There shall not be any interruption of luminous performance to the driver when LIN bus is corrupt or not existent.

HB will not be activated when LIN is lost. It shall be deactivated even in the case that HB was active when LIN was lost:

TI/LB/Hardwired DRL activation are not dependent on LIN signals and do not have any LIN dependent failure modes.

LIN controlled DRL is to be activated with ‘ParkPos_Intensity_cfg’ in case of LIN lost.
Side Marker is to be activated in case of LIN lost.

Lit star is to be deactivated in case of LIN lost.
Front fog is to be deactivated in case of LIN lost.
