BIN current can be set for BIN0 to BIN7 of each channel in the configuration parameter file, the current range should be 100mA to 1500mA. 0.5A-1.5A for channel 1&2, 0.15A-1.5A for channel 3&4. The picture below for reference.
EX:
If the BIN resistor is 2500hm, the BIN class is BIN2 and BIN current is 600mA.

Table 16: Binning Resistor and Current Setting
BIN resistor should be read and detect the error when the LDM is powered up each time.
Power up at first time or No BIN current stored in NVM:
• If the BIN resistor is in one of the BIN range and valid, range, BIN current should be stored in NVM and use it as output current. NVM.
• If the BIN resistor is out of all the BIN range or invalid, range, LDM should use the minimum current of the channel. And set BIN error via LIN.
Each power cycle after first power up:
• Use If the current which BIN resistor is stored in NVM as one of the output current at current power cycle.
• Continuously sample BIN range, and the BIN resistor:
i. If it current is valid and same with NVM value, no operation needed.
ii. If it is valid the value in NVM, the current should be used; or the new BIN current should be used and mismatch with stored in NVM value, use the new value to replace the NVM value, and it will be used from next main power cycle. previous value.
iii. If it the BIN resistor is out of all the BIN range or invalid, range, LDM should use the current stored in NVM, and set the BIN error via LIN.
Note:
BIN resistor sampling should continue at least 3 cycles after power on, valid means the sampled values are same in the 3 cycles, or it is invalid.
